Living in the Middle of Nowhere

I promise that I could win a contest for living in the middle of nowhere.

Actually, I have before.

I don't really live in Oklahoma. I live in the panhandle of Oklahoma, an often ignored area that blends in more with North Texas then the rest of the state.

We have to travel about sixty miles to reach the nearest Walmart. Our county has one grocery store. Our schools are tiny. (I think I've mentioned before that I graduated from a class of seven? That's true guys).

But we have the most amazing sunsets and stars ever.

Plus, you can see signs like this all the time:

And that's something special.
